According to FoxNews, Osama bin Laden has promised never to be captured alive. Apparently, he would rather die the death of a martyr than be defended by a former US Attorney General and be deprived of a new pair of underwear by the oppressive and cruel Americans. Well, Mr. Osama, killing you is the idea. Thanks for finally getting with the program.

In other news Iran has graciously and peacefully declared that it supports an end to the cartoon violence, calling for compromise between the principles of religious tolerance and free speech. Of course, it remains to be explained why a free state in Europe should be forced to negotiate such issues with a totalitarian wacko state in the Middle East, but I digress.

Lest you think Iran has turned all lovey dovey on us, apparently there are now Suicide Bombing 101 classes at Khajeh Nasir University in Iran. The group that sponsors these classes holds recruiting rallies at Friday prayer services and rallies sponsored by the State of Iran. Nice. So many Islamo-fascists with death wishes, so little time.

FoxNews: WASHINGTON - Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff is defending the Bush administration's review of an international shipping deal two days after one company in the Port of Miami sued to prevent an Arab-owned firm from taking over port operations.

Meanwhile, lawmakers also are considering legislation to stop foreign-owned companies from running U.S. ports.

What the...It seems someone turned the world upside down while Thor and I weren't looking. The most prominent opponents of allowing a Middle Eastern nation, with historical terrorist ties, to run American port operations are Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer, and Robert Menendez. Menendez (Democrat from NJ) stated the following:

"No matter what steps the administration claims it has secretly taken, it is an unacceptable risk to turn control of our ports over to a foreign government, particularly one with a troubling history. We cannot depend on promises a foreign government has given the administration in secret to secure our ports."

I never thought these words would usher forth from this Oracle's mouth, but Menendez is...er...cough...right (insert sound of Twilight Zone theme). President Bush's spokesmen are quick to add that the US Dept. of Homeland Security will employ "measures" to ensure compliance with security regulations to defer any threats to national security. Of course, if an American company were running the operations, these special measures would not be necessary in the first place. But, I guess that is too simplistic and "economically illiterate." Thinking that Americans should do American work in America, especially work vital to national security, is not popular these days.

I thought the sun would rise in the West before I linked Daily Kos, at least without a plethora of accompanying vulgarities and choice superlatives. However, that site does have a good post on the matter. I suppose all must wait and see if the Democrats are finally getting with the program, or if this is just a PR stunt to bash the President and look tough on National Security. It is difficult to trust those who advocate retreating from Iraq, excuse Islamo-fascist terror, defend communist/fascist dictators like Chavez, Ahmadinejad, and Castro, call Dick Cheney a terrorist, twist the issues related to wire tapping, and basically accuse the United States of just about every atrocity imaginable. When hippies, who have no real concept of the word "peace," start taking up arms beside conservatives, it is perfectly natural to raise one's eyebrows and drop one's jaw in wonder. Nevertheless, National Security ought not to be a partisan issue. The terrorist's bomb does not discriminate between political parties. Of course, national honor and personal liberties ought not to be partisan issues either, but, alas...

FoxNews: MAIDUGURI, Nigeria - Nigerian Muslims protesting caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad attacked Christians and burned churches on Saturday, killing at least 15 people in the deadliest confrontation yet in the whirlwind of Muslim anger over the drawings.

It was the first major protest to erupt over the issue in Africa's most populous nation. An Associated Press reporter saw mobs of Muslim protesters swarm through the city center with machetes, sticks and iron rods. One group threw a tire around a man, poured gas on him and set him ablaze.

Behold another fine, peaceful display of peace from the peaceful adherents of the religion of peace. I am trying to determine if burning off someone's head is more or less peaceful than sawing it off. Either way, it must be peaceful, for these things are done by Muslims, and Islam is a religion of peace, a religion, according to Bill Clinton, all Americans deeply respect. Despite the fact that we all know Islam is a religion of peace and worthy of our deepest respect, the Christian with the burned off head may arrogantly beg to differ. Of course, he can't say anything, because he's dead.

They are failing to build better ties with the West? Is that all a former president of the United States can say as Islamo-fascist adherents of the religion of peace riot, burn, pillage, murder, and, now, put death contracts out on people in Denmark? Call me a right wing nutjob, but I have a sneaking suspicion that these guys really to not care too much about building better ties with the West. I am not sure why I think this. Perhaps it's the burning buildings. Perhaps it's the burning cars. Perhaps it's the burning flags and rabid men with lighters and AK-47s shouting "Death to the West." Perhaps it's the charred body parts hanging from wires. Perhaps it's the prominent clerics calling for the blood of cartoonists. Perhaps it's the election of terrorists to public office. Perhaps it's the daily suicide bombings. Perhaps it's the countless corpses of men, women, and children littering the streets of Iraq and other places. Perhaps it's a memory of two certain towers collapsing in New York. Perhaps it's the lingering mental picture of a gutted Pentagon. Perhaps it's the image of a plane that went down somewhere in Pennsylvania. Perhaps it's the horror I felt as I saw blood gushing from the slashed necks of innocent prisoners as they uttered unspeakably disturbing cries on Al Jazeera television while Muslim men triumphantly chanted "Glory to Allah." Perhaps...well, you get the idea.

CNN: According to authorities in Peshawar, protesters, many of them students, set fire to a KFC restaurant, a cinema and several other buildings, including a Daewoo bus terminal that contained 16 buses, as they rampaged through the city. A number of cars and motorcycles were also burned.

What is it with Islamo-fascists and burning cars? I strain my powers, yet I still cannot understand the fascination. I also do not understand the logic. Some guy in Denmark draws a picture, so they burn their neighbors' cars halfway across the world. Weeks ago, in France, they went around their own neighborhoods blowing up their own cars, complaining about the poverty conditions they were supposedly suffering due to the extremely high unemployment rate. Unless they were all automobile salesmen, I fail to see how this would help. So, the French Government not only has to find non-existent jobs for these people, lest they take to the streets rampaging and pillaging again, it now has to provide them with new means of transportation. Of course, burning cars are the least of the worries in Pakistan. Three people were also killed by these peaceful adherents of the religion of peace, thus adding to the ever rising cartoon death toll. Interestingly, I never thought I would ever use the words "cartoon" and "death" in the same sentence.

Liberals hate Justice Scalia. Of course, Scalia obviously doesn't care. In fact, he laughs at them. They hate him because he believes in the rule of law, as opposed to the rule of men, daily political fads, and wavering opinion. There is a charming, quaint way of changing the United States Constitution--a little thing called the legislature. You see, the United States has a branch of government called the "legislature" because they are the elected representatives of the people who write laws...go figure. "Living Constitutionalists" are making deals with the devil of tyranny. They are like those who would train a rabid dog to attack an intruder. They may succeed quite well in having their enemy mauled, but it is only a matter of time before the dog turns on them. They forget that tyranny is irrational, unstable, and dangerous in all its forms, no matter how innocuous it may appear when it is convenient. It does not respect the hand that feeds it, and it knows no master.

I am sure any reader can discern that The Oracle and Thor appreciate many aspects of George Bush's foreign policy. However, we sit in astonished wonder at some of the utter stupidity of many of his cabinet members. Indeed, even with our superhuman, divine powers, we cannot figure out where he digs up some of these guys. There are, apparently, two ultimate sins in the mind of the current Transportation Secretary, this brave, selfless defender of civil rights and child safety. The first is screening Arab Muslims at airports, even though the vast majority of all current terrorist attacks in the world are perpetrated by Arab Muslims. Just because it is an actual fact that no 70-year-old white woman has ever hijacked a plane or blown herself to bits in a public square in order to take out a few innocent women and children, this is no reason to refrain form harassing a poor old lady as she stumbles over her walker and spills her arthritiss medication while going through airport security. I myself once witnessed airport personnel forcing a decrepit old white man to open his suitcase and reveal the contents. My immediate thoughts were "Damn straight, he's probably one of those vile and wicked World War II vets who roams the earth like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Needless to say, I kept a nervous eye on that guy throughout the flight. The second ultimate sin for this ridiculous bureaucrat is driving with a baby on one's lap. While The Oracle and Thor do not necessarily recommend going about cruising the town with little Johnny riding the front bumper, we hardly think it is incumbent upon a national cabinet member to publicly chide a silly pop star over something so incredibly insignificant. But, of course, he was concerned that Britney fans might seek to emulate their idol, as if she would start some sort of "baby on the dashboard" bumpersticker fad. Interestingly, it apparently did not occur to Mr. Mineta that most Britney fans cannot even attend a PG-13 movie without being accompanied by an adult, let alone drive. While I suppose such a comment is not worth addressing, I am still left thinking that this guy has way too much time on his hands.

This threat is almost as terrifying as a growling Chihuahua. However, before the good citizens of western civilization run screaming to their shelters, trembling in utter, hopeless horror, let us gaze down the corridor of recent history. Moammar Kadaffi used to talk like this, then Ronald Reagan called in an air strike and effectively silenced that stooge for decades. Manuel Noriega used to talk like this, then the US invaded Panama. That pathetic dictator of yesteryear is still languishing in an American prison. Communist tyrants used to talk like this, then the US drove them to their knees through arms production and firm resolve, taking down their oppressive iron curtains and concrete walls without bothering to fire a shot. The Taliban used to talk like this, then the US charged in and sent most of them to their virgins in the sky while the remainder ran for their lives to hide like shivering cowards in forgotten caves. Saddam Hussein used to talk like this, then the US rained its wrath upon his head, he was easily removed from his position, his children are dead, and he will soon be hanging from the end of a very real and unforgiving rope. Yes, it seems the West has an impressive track record of putting yapping, little dogs to sleep. Keep talking, Mr. Ahmadinejad, keep talking. The grim reaper is listening.

CNN: In London, people gathered for a demonstration to denounce the drawings. The organizers of the protest said they hoped to stage a peaceful rally. They want to show that law-abiding, moderate Muslims who are enraged about the cartoons also shun the violence that has greeted the drawings. Several thousand Muslims gathered in Trafalgar Square with placards saying "Mohammed Equals Mercy to Mankind" and "United Against Islamaphobia."

Interestingly, the Mayor of London joined the march.

Islamo-fascists make me angry. Islamo-liberals make me laugh. Although, they do show some imagination. They have managed to coin a politically loaded word, which I am certain will catch like wildfire among sloppy minded leftists--"Islamaphobia." Classic. So, people who criticize Islam are now "Islamaphobes." Why is it that Carl Sagan or Bertrand Russell are not called "Christophobes" or Teddy Kennedy a "Conservativeophobe?" Now, granted, these placards are certainly better than those which call for blood, rape, dismemberment, death, and destruction of the infidels. Let's give credit where it is due. But, unfortunately, it is just typical, liberal baby drool. "Mohammed Equals Mercy to Mankind." "Islam is a Religion of Peace." "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." Liberals of all ethnicities and religions, apparantly, are of the mindset that they can just spout intuitively obvious lies and get away with it. I suppose they think that if they can repeat a talking point ad infinitum, ad nauseam, people may actually start believing the nonsense. You know, its similar to when a city slicker enters a rural, ranching community. At first he is overcome by the offensive odor, but after a while, he no longer smells the bullsh--. I, for one, have had enough of the "mercy" of Mohammed. I have also had enough of the liberal bullsh--. I am still waiting for intelligent Muslim criticism of the deplorable violence of their brethren. The Islamo-fascists in Iran have never given evidence that they are suicidal? Perhaps certain government officials have not, at least to date, but they proudly and defiantly claim adherence to a political and religious philosophy that is not anything if it is not suicidal. Cato makes the fatal mistake of applying reason to Islamo-fascist foreign policy, as if logic applies down the rabbit hole of fanatical madness, in the wonderland of cruelty. Let us remember two planes that leveled certain towers in NY and another that took out a wing of the Pentagon. Thus we behold Islamo-fascist reason. Let us remember the daily accounts of suicide bombers in Iraq, Syria, Israel, Great Britain, and so many other nations. Thus we behold Islamo-fascist reason. Let us remember the beheadings, the hangings, the mauled American body parts suspended from electrical wires, the endless stream of blood flowing from Christian, Jewish, and, yes, Muslim victims of these savages. Thus we behold Islamo-fascist reason. Let us remember that the United States continues to destroy governments that fund and aid terrorist attacks, yet the attacks continue. To their own demise and destruction these people run, yet they run wholeheartedly thereto without restraint, without remorse, and without concern for consequences. For mere mortals, the Cato Institute normally does rather well in its analysis. In fact, some of the remainder of the analysis from which I quoted above is at least thought provoking. However, overall, in this case, they most definitely fall flat. These Middle Eastern looney-toones are nihilistic, blood thirsty, fanatical murderers. Would it be incredibly stupid to start a global nuclear war? Umm, yes. Should any sane man put it past the likes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Hamas buddies? Umm, no. Cato finds solace in the supposed fact that Iran has not yet distributed their present chemical weapons to terrorists. They find in this a comforting pattern of at least some semblance of rationality. Given the fact that Iran has publicly declared that they wish to wipe Israel from the map, given the fact that Iran has publicly declared its affinity for terrorists and their fascist cause, given the fact that the entire Middle East is simply not stable, I, for one, am hardly ready to breathe a sigh of relief and put my trust in Iran's decency and wisdom. Indeed, I find in this another reason to take these animals out before their kitten's meow becomes a lion's roar.

The teenage girl, however, broke down in tears in court as she explained that she had no intention of killing the man but was merely defending herself and her younger niece from rape, the report said.The court, however, issued on Tuesday a sentence for Nazanin to be hanged to death.Last week, a court in the city of Rasht, northern Iran, sentenced Delara Darabi to death by hanging charged with murder when she was 17 years old. Darabi has denied the charges. In August 2004, Iran’s Islamic penal system sentenced a 16-year-old girl, Atefeh Rajabi, to death after a sham trial, in which she was accused of committing “acts incompatible with chastity”.The teenage victim had no access to a lawyer at any stage and efforts by her family to retain one were to no avail. Atefeh personally defended herself and told the religious judge that he should punish those who force women into adultery, not the victims. She was eventually hanged in public in the northern town of Neka.

CNN: An Iranian newspaper says it is going to hold a competition for cartoons on the Holocaust to test whether the West will apply the same principles of freedom of expression to the Nazi genocide against Jews as it did to the caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed, The Associated Press reports.

I am the Oracle. As I peer through the haze of time and the fog of things yet to...hark, I perceive a conservative, western Jew eying one of these cartoons. What's this? He is not taking to the streets in riot. He is not kidnapping, rampaging, pillaging, and murdering his neighbors. He is not threatening a devastating and cruel series of terrorist attacks. Behold, he is rolling his eyes in contempt and laughing at the complete, irrational, absurd, and childish ignorance of these barbarians. Of course, although this Iranian newspaper and, thus, the Iranian government, are just making contemptible clowns of themselves, it does give us a glimpse into their way of thinking. Drawing a picture of some prophet is just as heinous, it seems, as poking fun at the dark slaying of six million human beings. Although, in their twisted, ignorant minds, the holocaust never happened in the first place; and, even if it did, those dirty Jews deserved it for being...well...Jewish. As the Oracle, I can also see into the past, and, where I am deficient, Thor fills in the fuzzy areas. In fact, there was a holocaust. In fact, six million innocent people were slain because of a German version of fascism much akin to the modern Islamo-fascism we are supposed to consider peaceful. In fact, millions more were slain by a Russian fascist around the same point in history. In fact, if I go back still further, I see that Muhammad was not a prophet at all but merely a bloodthirsty, maniacal tyrant who had a bit too much sun exposure and found a convenient way to motivate people to incite violence and invade neighboring lands. In fact it appears that the Iranian mini-tyrant/Hitler wannabees do not need to go to the trouble of making fools of themselves--reality has already done that for them.

For the record, as an oracle, if you draw pictures of me, I will behead you and sell your children into slavery.

A Call for a Cartoon Fatwah

Thor is right, of course, he is a deity after all. The cartoons have grown too strong, too numerous, too monstrously insidious. Lock your doors! The Danish toons, Roger Rabbit, and Bugs Bunny are on the rampage! Death to all toons! The US needs to remove all those nice, innocent, peaceloving "so called" terrorists from Guantanamo Bay and incarcerate these nasty drawings, for they are the real problem. Of course, then the liberals in the senate would call for a cartoon Bill of Rights and condemn conservatives for being toonophobic. They would call for a complete withdrawal of our troops, for we just cannot win against such a formidable, animated foe. Damn free speech. Damn freedom. Damn truth. Erase 'em all! Let Allah sort 'em out!

Have we not had enough of those crazy toons hacking off heads and blowing themselves up in the public arena?!!! Have we not had enough of those crazy toons burning and destroying embassies and killing people randomly?!! Have we not had enough from the "peaceful" toons who support and praise those actions?!! Have we not had enough from the toons trying to force other nations to live by their religious laws that they are completely and utterly uninterested in?!! Have we not had enough of these cartoons already?!!

I dont blame the Religion of Peace for peacefully protesting these crazy cartoons that perpetrate such destruction and devastation (Anything connected with the "Prophet" Mohammad seems to cause rage...Thor understands...has the same problem)! Truly the people of the Religion of Peace are people to be truly admired (all their wonderful actions show us cause for admiration)! The toons are completely and utterly insane! Reuters reports a comment from a Muslim leader related to the Danish cartoons: "They are not doing it to exercise their freedom, they are doing it to provoke people and create havoc," said Abdulkadir Orire, leader of the Nigerian Muslim group Jama'atu Nasril Islam. "Freedom of expression is going beyond the limit."

These people just do not get it. The very fact that a cartoon could "create havoc" is the problem itself, the heart of the issue. What the Danes have simply done is demonstrate that, indeed, the emperor, or in this case the sheik, has no clothes by smacking him on his bare, exposed ass. Perhaps it was a bit forward and disrespectful, but, nevertheless, the point is made. The mindless and unsubstantiated "Islam is a religion of peace" mantra is proven to be utter foolishness, a dream, a figment of the bizarre leftist imagination. If the publication of some silly cartoons can cause the fanatical Muslims to lust for blood like a school of hungry sharks in a feeding frenzy, perhaps, just perhaps, the cartoons are not the real danger. If it is true that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful, reasonable people, which has yet to be demonstrated to the world, especially as the idea is contradicted every day by the violent slaying of countless, innocent, unarmed people, then they need to get their own brethren under control. These supposedly peaceful Muslim leaders need to look to their own houses, or those houses may be summarily leveled to the ground by the increasingly impatient western world.

FoxNews reports on the ongoing protests over the Danish cartoons: Hundreds of Palestinians protested in the occupied territories, and the leader of the Islamic militant group Hamas, which recently swept parliamentary elections there, told Italian daily Il Giornale on Saturday that the cartoons should be punished by death.

Jimmy Carter's "so called" terrorist organization of the religion of peace evidently thinks the entire world is subject to Islamic Law and the dictates of fanatical censorship. The pope and much of the western world have condemned the cartoons as irresponsible because they are, it seems, unnecessarily provocative. Of course, this leads one to wonder just what a political cartoonist is supposed to do if not challenge ideas and provoke thought. But, I should not think such blasphemous things. Indeed, when a pack of rabid dogs attack the post man, it is, of course, the post man's fault. It must be a good and peaceful thing to kill people for drawing pictures because Muslims apparently think it is ok, and, after all, Islam is a religion of peace. Although, I wonder at the silence and lack of indignation from the peaceful Muslim world when innocent civilians are blown up in marketplaces. Those Pesky Danish Infidels

Foxnews: Outrage over caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad escalated in the Arab and Islamic world Thursday, with Palestinian gunmen briefly kidnapping a German citizen and protesters in Pakistan chanting "death to France" and "death to Denmark."

I don't know about you, but every time I see a cartoon that pisses me off, I want to go around kidnapping and killing people too. After all, these people are of the religion of peace, a "noble" faith, so they must be peaceful, even though they want to kidnap and kill people over a cartoon. Apparently, there is a small group of people in Denmark that want to "open dialogue" with the Muslims. Allah Damn-it, how can you open dialogue with people that want to kidnap and kill people over a cartoon? Doesn't that qualify as stepping over the line of rational dialogue? Apparently it does not to the liberal. Of course, rationality and modern liberalism cannot peacefully coexist, as they are mutually exclusive intellectual paradigms. Europe needs to wake up and smell the roasting, Arabic coffee beans. The radical Muslim world will not rest until the western world is enslaved, converted, or dead. You cannot live at peace with people who have no concept of the word.

A Holy Land of Cockroaches

FoxNews: "Nuclear energy is our right, and we will resist until this right is fully realized," Ahmadinejad told the crowd in the southern Iran city of Bushehr, the site of Iran's only nuclear power plant.

Of course, no one has said that Iran cannot have a nuclear power program. The world is just a wee bit hesitant to allow Iran to make weapons that have the potential to start a global nuclear war and destroy mankind. Although I am a clairvoyant prophet, with eyes that pierce the haze of time, one does not need my powers to realize that there is a significant difference between the two ideas. A lot of small nations have nuclear weapons. The problem is not Iran's size or its location in the Middle East or its ethnic makeup. The problem is Iran is run by a gang of Islamo-fascist, tyrannical, loony, psychopathic goons who think it is their Allah given right to wipe Israel and any other nation of infidels from the face of the globe. Of course, if Iran were foolish enough to deploy a nuclear weapon, or allow a terrorist to deploy a nuclear weapon of its creation, their ancient land would be summarily leveled and made a playground for cockroaches. Then again, perhaps Allah digs cockroaches, I don't know. You would have to ask Thor. Iran is simply not powerful enough to defend itself as a nuclear power. If you want to step in the ring with the heavyweights, you had better be able to take a hit. If you want to sow to the wind, you must prepare to reap the whirlwind.

In other news, a former prisoner of Saddam has testified at his trial that he had her whipped, kicked, and hung by her feet. Nice. I guess she should feel lucky that she was not raped to death by Saddam's sons (who are, by the way, decidedly dead). Yet, America, the Great Satan, is condemned as evil for not supplying this lovely man with a clean pair of underwear.

Some State of the Union Suggestions

Just a couple of suggestions from the thunder maker in the sky for the State of the Union:

Stop referring to Islam as a religion of peace. (Review world history as guide as to why).

Stop referring to Allah as God when referencing Islamic beliefs. Allah is not God. Allah is not the God of Christians nor of Jews. Allah is an imaginary lunatic in the sky. (Thor knows. Allah is often present at our imaginary god conferences. He yells alot. None of the other imaginary gods like him much).

Say "here is a message to al Qaeda and the rest of the 'holy warriors' of Islam" and extend middle finger at camera.

Then:

Proceed to allow the American military to tear them to ruins without political interference.

Ignore the protests of American traitors. (They didnt vote for you nor are they ever going to support you no matter what you do).

Send Muslims, living in America, who are not American citizens back to where they came from.

Go ahead and build that big fence on our borders.

There is so much more that needs to be done, but this would be a start!

Better to be correct rather than politically correct.

According to CNN, he stated, "My first message is to the butcher of Washington, Bush: You are not just defeated and lying about it, but you are, with God's help, a loser," he said. "You are bad luck to your people; you brought them disasters and catastrophes, and you will bring them even more disasters."

Oh my! Whatever shall the good people of the United States do? The US is losing this war to these brave terrorists, these scary warriors of Allah? Never mind that Saddam will soon be swinging from the end of a rope. Never mind that the US soldiers and marines toppled two tyrannical Islamo-fascist regimes like taking candy from a baby. Never mind that all these courageous jihadists can do is kidnap and kill their own people, a bunch of unarmed contractors, and defenseless women and children. Contrary to all reason and fact, Allah has apparently made the US a bunch of losers after all. Of course! It is so clear to me now. That is why George Bush will actually be broadcasting his State of the Union speech from a forgotten cave in West Virginia. The speech will not be live. It will be previously taped and delayed to give him enough time to crawl into another hole, lest the all-powerful al Qaeda pinpoint his location and bomb him to oblivion.

These glorified camel riders just do not get it. They do not understand the American spirit. The more these holy warriors threaten, the more they hurt, the more they kill, the more they pave their own highway to hell.

Formidable? A rabid bitch can be formidable too, but there are ways to deal with her. I grow weary of Hillary presidential speculation. If the Republicans cannot figure out a way to beat her in 2008, assuming she is the Democratic nominee, then they do not deserve to hold the office, although Bill would make a great First Lady. I think she should pick Howard Dean as her running mate. Then, the Republicans can run Pat Robertson and John McCain. The screaming, nagging, false prophesying, and media pandering would at least offer some quality entertainment for the masses.

I do not rejoice in the kidnapping or murder of anyone. I sincerely hope that these men will be released and returned to their families and loved ones. Yet, I must confess that I think these "peace" activists are receiving a valuable lesson in the ways of the world. The Muslim terrorists will not capitulate to grace. They are not moved by bleeding heart appeals to peace. They will only capitulate to power, and, ultimately, death. A nine-year-old with a gun can kidnap a bunch of people who will not defend themselves and hold them for political ransom. These jihadists are brave warriors of heaven, indeed. It's like the kid on the playground that says, "Do what I say or I'll...I'll beat up your little sister!" Worse yet, apparently, the murder of the defenseless somehow glorifies the All-Merciful Allah. Only in the mind of a soulless moron like Howard Dean could such an act make any sense whatsoever and somehow be the fault of Republican policy. Only in the simple, opportunistic mind of the liberal, could the US somehow be at fault for this cowardice. Yet, there these brave "insurgents" are, ready to murder and violently take innocent life. Again, I hope the victims are released. But, if they are not, take warning from the red sky before you. Do not play the fool. It is time these terrorists met their Maker and that right soon. To the terrorist, whether these or others that have taken off the heads of their screaming victims, whose hands are stained with innocent blood, I have but one thing to say: death is coming for you, the gates of hell wait to receive your souls, and the American soldier/marine will be your grim reaper.

John Kerry and Ted "Chapaquitic" Kennedy are teaming up to lead the brave, selfless, heroic opposition to the confirmation of the vile and wicked judge Samuel Alito to the US Supreme Court. These idealistic, principled senators have taken it upon themselves to save the United States from sure disaster. Of course, Teddy is probably just stone drunk and doesn't really know what's going on, but Kerry is coming out with guns blazing like the Sundance Kid. Damn straight. According to FoxNews, Venezuela's vice president derided Sen. John McCain for suggesting that "wackos" run the South American country, saying Monday that the United States should focus on its own problems.

Look out USA, there's a new big boy on the block. They are lean and mean. They talk tough. They look scary. They tell US senators to go to hell. They care about the little man (well, as long as he doesn't start thinking like a big man). They have terrifying nightmares about Pat Robertson. They are a bunch of insane, maniacal commies--they are VENEZUELA (insert creepy background music here). Apparently these tough guys think it humorous to deride the United States for their supposed 40 million poor citizens. Of course, you are not supposed to know that the vast majority of Venezuelans live in abject poverty by American standards. Again, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Senator McCain's comments occurred as he was speaking about pursuing alternative sources of fuel. You see, the United States obtains a very large percentage of its oil from these bouncing, South American, nutjob media darlings. In fact, without the patronage of the United States, Venezuela would have even more tin shack communities than it already does. One thing that even an oracle cannot figure out is why the concept of alternative fuels is controversial. One day, perhaps, the US will wake up and realize that the suppliers of their most precious commodity are either Middle Easterners that want to blow up their buildings and kill their children or South Americans who want to look important in the news and talk about how much the USA totally sucks. One day, perhaps, the US will wake up and realize that their enemies have them held firmly by the cojones. Speaking of tolerance (see Thor's message below), it appears a gay rights organization is disappointed with the latest American Idol episode in which a transvestite was the brunt of some mild jokes. The young...er...man came on the show in women's clothing, looking completely like a woman, singing a woman's song, and then complained that the judges took notice. Of course, we all know that being noticed is what the young man wanted. After being rejected, the guy lost any last vestige of manhood and started crying and whining like a little girl (sniff, sniff). Perhaps the gay rights zealots have not noticed that Simon Cowell makes fun of everybody, especially when there is something glaringly obvious, something begging for sarcastic comment. So, it seems we are not allowed to laugh at transvestites anymore. It reminds me when, as a child, I was tempted to laugh at something during class. Since such laughter would earn the scorn of the teacher, and probably an intolerable detention, to which I was, by the way, no stranger, I would attempt to suppress my inclination. Of course, this caused the desire to become completely overwhelming, like an itch that absolutely had to be scratched. The effort was futile. After what seemed like hours of muffled snickers, the bell would finally ring, and I was at last permitted to let it out. Oddly, I no longer wanted to laugh anymore. You see, once we are commanded not to laugh, we will want to laugh all the more. Once you say "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain," our attention will be immediately drawn to the man behind the curtain. I am sorry if it offends, but when there is an elephant in the room, it cannot be ignored. Face it, a guy dressing up and acting like a woman is funny. It is ridiculous, like putting a bulldog in a tutu. To say it is not funny is, well, funny.

Looking down from the dark rolling clouds from time to time I have noticed that the worlds leaders, especially the American leaders, claim tolerance as the greatest of virtues and the one virtue that supposed true Americans' share. Often those leaders scold the people for supposedly forgetting this great virtue. From my vantage point in the sky, however, America does not seem to be lacking this tolerance that they speak of.

America and its leaders insist that Islam is a religion of peace. This they insist in spite of the fact of the history of Islam from its very foundation to the present day. This they insist even though its tenants and principles are published in English in the form of the Koran for all to have access to. This they insist in spite of the numerous and consistent unprovoked attacks on Americans and their interests since the 1960's by Islamic individuals and groups supported and protected by virtually every Islamic nation on earth. This they insist in spite of the fact that the American government had to invade an entire nation to attempt to bring a single Islamic terrorist to justice. I could go on about beheadings, gruesome murders, nations racing to gain access to nuclear weapons, genocidal remarks and wishes of Islamic national leaders that are cheered and hoped for by the known Islamic world, etc, but that would be unnecessary. Suffice it to say that a people such as the Americans who can, in essence, refer to the Islamic world as peace mongers are indeed a tolerant people.

This great "virtue" of the American people doesn’t stop there either. The American people put this "virtue" into practice.

The American people have opened their borders and accepted in the entire southern continent to their nation and do not mind the fact that these people add less benefit to the nation economically and socially than the services they consume and the institutions they destroy. The American people are so tolerant in this regard as to stand with open arms while their schools, hospitals, jobs, children’s futures, and national culture burn up in flames.

The American Hollywood produces untold numbers of films and television programs that demonstrate the wonderful and goodly world of the alternative lifestyles. Yearly the American press, along with Hollywood common folk, hand out awards to the gay cowboy and fornicating Jesus stories of the day.

The American Democratic party, along with Hollywood, the ACLU and so many others denounce and decry that truly intolerant book of the Bible and those that would dare to actually follow such a God as is described there in. The "wonderful virtue" has even penetrated many American "churches" and brought about a new understanding by many of this Bible and this God. The old God and Christ of the past two thousand years, and the awful intolerance of that God and era, is indeed dead with many a tolerant American.

The list of the achievements of the American people under the banner of this "great virtue" are so "wonderful" and so numerous as to fill volumes. Here we can be satisfied to say that America is indeed a tolerant nation.

A Pansy with Thorns?

The profound intellectual, Harry Belafonte, recently compared US Homeland Security to the Gestapo and declared President Bush the greatest terrorist in the world. Oddly, he has yet to be captured by the Republican Party and gruesomely beheaded with a rusty, dull machete on Al Jezeera television.

No doubt much to Harry's dismay, Jacques Chirac stated that France is prepared to respond to a state sponsored terrorist attack with a tactical nuclear strike. Tough talk, very tough. Even if it is rather like Richard Simmons talking smack on the street, I am impressed. I guess if the French can figure out how to point their missiles in the right direction without tripping over their white flags, the mujahideen might find themselves permanently entombed with their camels under a sea of glass. Indeed, Jimmy Carter's "so called" terrorists may end up "so called" obliterated. Perhaps Belafonte can team up with Carter and his buddy Castro to start a Habitat for Humanity commune in the resulting radioactive wasteland. Ray Nagin could even join in and vow to rebuild a chocolate Middle East. But, alas, this liberal paradise will never be realized, because it is all talk. It is France after all.

A Little Terrorism Never Hurt Anybody

Following the example of Jimmy Carter, and in an apparent bid for the award of the next Nobel Peace Prize, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the "president" of Iran, expressed his support of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad today. Of course, only these kind of enlightened men know that Hamas is only a "so called" terrorist organization and the Nazi holocaust is a myth. Anyone who is anyone knows those six million Jews just died of natural causes. After all, doesn't the world understand that the emaciated look of the prison camp Jew is kinda sexy? Blowing up innocent women and children in buses is a perfectly valid form of political expression and a great way to stick it to those arrogant westerners. Carter's left wing logic is consistent. Clinton lying a lot didn't make him a liar. Likewise, if Hamas goes on a few little homicide bombing missions, it doesn't make them terrorists. Besides, if it takes a few dead babies and body parts strewn all over the highways of Jerusalem to take down those cursed liberty loving Americans, so be it.

I wonder, do the female terrorists get set up with ten Osama lookalike men in Islamic Paradise? That is quite possibly the nastiest mental picture I have ever had the misfortune of imagining. Red Sky is a new blog written by, yours truly, The Oracle, and the God of Thunder himself--Thor. Contrary to popular belief, being a deity and a clairvoyant prophet is not all fun and games, although it is true that chicks dig the whole power thing. Nevertheless, it is actually very taxing on the soul. Our infallible omniscience causes us to see things as they truly are in relation to both the past and the future. Normally, we just complain to each other and wonder why the world sails mindlessly into the sea of nonsense even after the gods have graciously given them the full warning of a morning red sky. Yes, it is heartbreaking. Of course, in an effort to divert our sorrow, we often sit back, pull out the divine popcorn, and enjoy those great comedies you humans broadcast on CSPAN and other news media.

Thor and I don't always agree. I suspect Thor and I don't always agree with anyone. However, if you are offended or annoyed, just keep coming back. Eventually one of us will probably say something that resonates with you. If not, remember, we know more than you do.
